Bordermarkers 451 - 460
In Saatse Boot without Estonian markers.
Map 451 - 460
When you look at the map, you know why it's called Saatse boot.
In a few years the State border might run differently and the boot might be disappeared.
When the swap will be effected, I centrainly will visit the area once again.
Border marker 451
There is not much activity in Saatse Boot. When you look at air pictures, you see wood, one medow and one shed. I wonder who is farming here.
Border marker 452
Border marker 453
A straight line. Only old traces of machines. It looks like the borderzone is not that well maintained here anymore. As if Russia already gave up this area.
Border marker 454
Entering a swampy area now with on the left even a lake. I was afraid I had to amke a long detour but there is an old gangboard which guided me direct to 455.
Border marker 455
A view to the east where I came from. The border makes a 90 degrees angle here.
Border marker 456
On dry grounds again.
Border marker 457
Again a long straight line to 459.
Border marker 458
Border marker 459
The border makes a very sharp angle here. From this point you can follow the two straight lines.
Now the border goes back in the direction of the Estonian road.
